My first action as the mayor of my city is…to reimagine recycling for the 21st century city! Hong Kong is a world leader in many respects, but Hongkongers are far behind when it comes to recycling – vital for achieving the circular economy of the future. Recycling is not yet an instinctive habit, as in many other places, and it should be. Change starts at home, and we can make a real difference – and, in so doing, revolutionize sustainability in our city.
